The Patterson-Schwartz Foundation: Making a Difference in Our Community

At Patterson-Schwartz, we embrace the philosophy that being a good neighbor is more than just giving money to a worthy cause – it’s about developing and investing in the community in which we live and do business. That’s why our sales associates and employees give countless hours of their time in support of various organizations and events. From keeping our streets clean by picking up roadside litter and helping to build homes for disadvantaged families, to serving on various charitable boards and committees, members of the Patterson-Schwartz family have an extensive history of individual involvement and personal commitment.

In addition to lending a helping hand, Patterson-Schwartz donates a portion of the proceeds from every real estate transaction to the Patterson-Schwartz Foundation which provides support to numerous local charitable organizations, ranging from social services and health care research to youth programs and garden clubs. Since its inception in 2001, the Patterson-Schwartz Foundation has donated over $1,200,000 to local organizations such as Delaware Marathon Running Festival, Delaware Housing Opportunity Fund, American Warrior Initiative, Delaware Center for Horticulture, Mary Campbell Center Foundation, Delaware Community Foundation, Delaware Nature Society, NAMI Delaware, Faithful Friends Animal Society, St. Patrick’s Center and many more.
